The Holiday Season Begins

This time of year marks Georg Hoglo's annual Cookie and Ornament Exchange. Each baker made 13 dozen cookies to exchange with the other bakers. 1 dozen were displayed specifically for the "prettiest display" contest. I didn't win, but I sure tried! :-)















The remaining 12 dozen were wrapped in various packages for the exchange.

My dear and treasured friend, Rowena Tilton. "Winnie" has been an example to me of what it truly means to live a life that honors the Lord. With the loss of her beloved husband this past March, she has shown amazing faith and rock-solid trust in the Lord. I hope and pray that I will be such a woman of faith.
